13 Year Old Girl Gets Hit By Train
I read in the northern advocate yesterday about a 13 year old girl who was hit by a train. Now she was dragged a few meters, knocked unconscious and lives to tell the story. She has a fractured cheek bone but that is all. She was very lucky to have survived that ordeal. Now I think they need to change the timetable of the train as it co insides with the time that the students get out of school. Also I think they need to put lights and bells on that crossing to warn anyone crossing that area of the track that there is a train coming. Please if you have read this type a comment and tell me what you think about it.

Well I wasn't there so I can't comment on what actually happened - but in saying that isn't a train a big noisy thing that you would know was coming??? Even if you are deaf and can't hear it you would feel the vibrations through your feet, and surely a train is a big enough thing that you would be able to see it coming if it was close enough to you to hit you.
